How do I get this keyboard to allow "special character' usage? Example, on
my other keyboards, if I type "alt0176" the degree symbol, or alt0189 would
insert the "½" symbol would be typed into my text document? - Help
    appreciated - IM

Special characters can be found in the "Character Map."
Access the character map by pressing the Window Key (found between the
ctrl and alt keys in the lower left corner of the keyboard) at the same
    time as the R key.
A Run window will open. To the right of Open: type charmap.exe
The Character Map will open with a slew of characters. Select the
character you intend to use by pressing the character and the select
    button.
I suggest dragging the Character Map to the desktop for future use.
