How to handle an error when trying to delete a shared folder (DFS)

    Good morning,

I deleted all my DFS domain-based namespaces from MMC and tried to recreate
    them on existing shared folders.

While trying to delete an empty share folder (previously a target on DFS), I
    came accross the following error:

"An error occurred while trying to delete share Documents. The share must
be removed from the Distributed File System before it can be deleted. "

Well since I had previously deleted all entries from the MMC why is this
    error still happening ????

Why can I create a domain-based DFS on an existing shared folder ????

    Regards,

    Luis
