We have problem with our Exchange 2003 A/P cluster on Windows 2003. When\ntrying to check the cluster.log can't find any entries before the failover.\nLooks like the dafult size is 8 MB. Once reached old entries will be\noverwriten. I found following MS article to increase the log size but have\nsome questions.\n\nhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997356(EXCHG.80).aspx\n\n1. in the article it says to create a new registry paramenter\n"clusterlogsize" with DWORD value. But talking to PSS I was told the value\nshould be STRING.\n\n2. in the article it didn't say whether it needs to restart the server or\ncluster service after the registry change. I made the change with either\nDWORD and STRING and then ran SET. It didn't show up. Plus log is still\nrolling back when reached 8 MB. So, should I restart the server or just\ncluster service?\n\n3. If I need to change the log size later on do I need to restart the server\nor cluster service again?\n\n4. Is there any bad impact with large cluster log? for exampel, does it make\nfailover and back slower?\n\nThanks.
