We have problem with our Exchange 2003 A/P cluster on Windows 2003. When
trying to check the cluster.log can't find any entries before the failover.
Looks like the dafult size is 8 MB. Once reached old entries will be
overwriten. I found following MS article to increase the log size but have
    some questions.

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997356(EXCHG.80).aspx

    1. in the article it says to create a new registry paramenter
"clusterlogsize" with DWORD value. But talking to PSS I was told the value
    should be STRING.

    2. in the article it didn't say whether it needs to restart the server or
cluster service after the registry change. I made the change with either
DWORD and STRING and then ran SET. It didn't show up. Plus log is still
rolling back when reached 8 MB. So, should I restart the server or just
    cluster service?

    3. If I need to change the log size later on do I need to restart the server
    or cluster service again?

    4. Is there any bad impact with large cluster log? for exampel, does it make
    failover and back slower?

    Thanks.
