In my laptop whose OS is Vista, I want to my computer to standby or hibernate
after I close the lib or screen instead of sleeping. How should I configure
    to achieve this?

    Thanks.

In the Start search box start typing

    power options

When you see it in the list above click on it to run it. In the list on the
    left click on

Choose what closing the lid does.
