    Hello everybody£¡

It worked before that the mail content text can be indexed by "Windows
Desktop Search 4.0" in "Windows Live Mail 12.0", but it become invalid
after I reinstalled the Operating System and two software.

That puzzled me a long time.

Now, I have updated the Windows Live Mail to 14.0, but it can only searched
    by mail subject too ¡£

I want to use "Windows Desktop Search 4.0" to help it , how ?

    Please! thanks for your reply.

  2. First, make sure that WS desktop search is working with kind:OE
If not, that's why it's not working within WLMail.

BTW there is a separate web forum for helping with WS issues.

  3. I'm not sure the exact steps you followed. But the first thing I'd try when
there are problems with search is to clear this registry key and restart
    mail.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\DesktopSearchIndexed

When mail restarts we will call into WDS (windows desktop search) and tell
it where we store eml files, so it will search them.
