    Hi:

I need some suggestions on how to monitor the bandwidth usage between two
computers. All I want to see is the running total of incoming and outgoing
bytes. I don't need to capture any packets or need any other information.
Basically I just want to enter in the IP address of a server and then see
how much traffic is being generated between the host and server in real
    time. That's all. Thanks.

  2. Bandwidth is relative to the "wire" not to PCs. If you monitor the wire
with something like MS's Network Monitor then you see everything that the
PC's Nic sees on the wire, no matter what PC it comes from.
