We are now writing a USB modem driver, the properties dialog box of this
modem incorrectly shows the Power Management tab. And "Allow this device to
bring the computer out of standby" check box is visible to end-users.
Actually, our modem dosn't has this ability, and we want to remove the
"Power Management tab". Strangely, some PC don't have the Power Management
tab for the modem, but some PC have it. We are sure the driver are same.
Our goal is to remove the Power Management tab, can anyone tell me how to
do it ? And which component has the responibilty for it, driver? or PnP
    procedure?

  2. this is based on the DEVICE_CAPABILITIES being reported back to the modem
driver. Set the DeviceWake field to PowerDeviceUndefined and SystemWake to
PowerSystemUndefined and set each elelement in the DeviceState array to
PowerDeviceUndefined . you should do this in your irp_mn_query_capabilities
handler after you have synchronously sent the request dwon the stack and
    before you complete it.
