    Hi,

My plan is to upgrade a nt4 srv to w2k3 with 6 w2k srv as member servers

During the upgrade NT4 to W2K3, I think that I will let the member servers
turn on and link to the network. Then, after a migration , reboot all my srv
and check if all of them servers are ok (if I can pick up some users from
the new DC to the srv, for example...)

How can we verify much more efficiently if all of them are ok? Do I have
    more tests to do?

    Thank for your answer.

  2. Hi Baud,

    Thanks for your posting here.

It seems that you will upgrade the NT PDC to Windows Server 2003. If so,
these member servers will works properly after upgrade. Please install DNS
service on the new Windows 2003 DC and point to itself in DNS settings. As
for the Windows 2000 member servers, you need to point them to the new DNS
    server.

If you logon these member servers using the domain user, then I think
    everything is OK.

I have included some documents for your conference.
