    Hi all

I've got a w2k3 server with custom service dependencies. They were added
with the resource kit tool sc.exe (sc config "servicename" depend=
    "servicename2depend")

the dependencies are now not needed anymore, and i want to remove them. But
i can't find a command within sc.exe to remove service dependencies, but only
    to create them.

is there a other way to remove dependencies?
    thanks for your help!

  2. Yes, remove them from the DependOnService Value Name, a REG_MULTI_SZ data type
    at HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\<ServiceKey>
