Please walk me through how to get sound when I play DVD's on my laptop. I
know there are speakers and sound. The sound is heard from internet content
like live stream television and video files from other websites but there is
no sound when we put DVD's in the tray. We can see the video perfectly. The
DVD plays visually but there is no sound. HELP!

The Operating System is Windows Vista Home Basic Edition with Celeron M

This could be caused by a missing or broken decoder for DVD audio. Try
    installing AC3Filter from http://ac3filter.net
