I can't access to companyweb but I can to companyweb.mydomain.loca

    Yes, I know it's a little issue but it is disturbing me. Other users can
    access to companyweb with url http://companyweb but when I try same url, I
    receive the famous message "Internet Explorer can't show web page"; but I can
    access to our sharepoint portal if I write http://companyweb.mydomain.local.
    I am searching and comparing my web settings with the users can access well
    and they seems equal... ...only it seems, sure. What do they have that I
    not?

    companyweb is a DNS 'cname' for companyweb.mydomain.local

    So, check the DNS settings of your workstation and make sure you are using
    ONLY the SBS server for DNS.
