I hate hate hate hate it!!

It's so much harder to organize and use. The only thing I like is that it is
black, which is amazing becasue Windows seems to have an obsession with the
color blue. Trying to move a single song from one album to another is nearly
impossible. With version ten you could change each song's album easily. Since
I have a lot of songs that are by "Unkown Artist" it is a pain to get them
    all to the correct album.

V11 is not worth it! Don't download it!!!

Sounds boring to just say "I agree totally", so I'll add that I liked the
search feature, but I totally agree that the lack of "drag and drop" and
    expandable catagories was horrible.

Made it so difficult to reorganise files.

    I've gone back to v10.

Yes to the search, yes to the design changes, but BIG no to the lack of
    "Explorer like" drag and drop.

  3. indeed WMP11 is an inferior product in a multitude of ways...

    I went back to WMP10.

PS: I HATE the back color so there goes the only thing you like!

    I went back to WMP10.

I don't like that one either. WMP9 has all I need, except it cannot play
    videos from internet.

As noted, the lack of drag and drop is a bug that will be fixed by final

While I DO love nearly any of the new Features in WMP 11
I gotta say that the total LACK of
    1. the treeview of albums/artists/etc on the left side
    2. the drag&drop feature to reorganise the tracks (move between albums ...)
    3. a possibility to edit some tags through the advanced tag editor (e.g. the
    Year of release)

makes managing a huge music collection like mine a real
    pain in the a**!!!

    please MS
    no backward development!!

And then why the restrictions on which tags that can be displayed in the
columns.? The BPM tag fx is shown in the advances tag editor, but I can't
choose it as a header, and that goes for other tags as well...

Just a guess but displaying information from the ID3 tags can be a
performance problem because you have to read all of the files for all the
data rather than read it from a database.
