    Hi,

I've read through most of the posts below, but none seem to help. I have
been having problems trying to view videos from some websites - in particular
those from wwe.com. My C:/Windows/clock.avi file works fine (I can see/hear
both audio and video), I can also see and hear movie files that use DivX
    encoding.

I have recently updated from windows media player 9 to 10 in the hope that
this would solve the problem, but alas I am still getting no picture (only
sound) when trying to view videos from some websites (some work and some
    don't).

I've tried lowering my hardward accleration and that did nothing. All of my
games work perfectly (and I'm running some of the latest games - Sims 2,
    Warhammer 40,000).

Can anyone help as to what the problem could be (sorry, I don't know what
format the video files are from wwe.com - but these seem to be the main ones
    that don't work).

    Thanks.

I have the same problem but I can't find any other files
on my computer that play properly besides clock.avi.

I'm not sure if there are any known issues but I have an
ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 with Catalyst 4.10 with Catalyst
    Control Center.
Also in Windows Explorer the thumbnail view of my video
files still shows the first frame but when I open them
the video screen is just black with the audio playing
    clearly.

    very frustrating.
