    Hi ) After I have install agent for Symantec Backup for Windows Servers v10b
    on Windows Server 2003 R2 Ent, I receive the error above.

    VSS Error 8193 at Windows Server 2003 (two writers exists with the same id
    IEventSystem::Query)

    Duaring installation shadow copy was enabled on disk other then system
    drive.

    Any attempt to use local or remote backup by any program crushes due this
    VSS
    error. Sometimes this error followed by error 12289:
    Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error CVssWriter::Subscribe
    for{542da469-d3e1-473c-9f4f-7847f01fc64f} COM+ REGDB Writer). hr =
    0x8000ffff.

    It's impossible to reinstall server, it in use at havy production
    environment.

    I cannot find any articles at Symantec or Microsoft TechNets.
    The update recommended in KB891957 installed, but it doesn't correct the
    problem.

    Any help and any idea will be accepted with gratitude. Thanks in advance.
