  1. I read email, then next time I'm on line I go back to the email and the
message below is there. This happens often. This is fustrating.

    Message cannot be found
The contents of this message cannot be found.

Does 'next time I'm online' indicate that the internet connection was closed/disabled/turned off prior to going online ?
Does 'next time I'm online' indicate that chose to use the Offline mode (in IE or Windows Live Mail[WLM]) ?

If yes, to either of the above was WLM open when doing so ?

What kind of email account ? Pop3, IMAP, Http

Which folder does the 'can not be found' message reside ?

I am having the exact same problem. The error occurs in the inbox folder.
The message is a duplicate of something I deleted or move to a storage folder
(drafts). The next day I sign in the message title is there but no message.

    Haapens here too.
I drag the message to the Delete folder, which appears to be the only way to
    get rid of it.

Did deletion or move occur from the Quick View folder
    - a possible cause, delete or move from the actual folder the message resides

Orphans can also occur, if the WLM is closed prior to updating is message index(the file that knows where everything is).

It may even extend to deletions or move that occur during a send/receive if the internet connection is lost or interfered(e.g. AV
    program)
