I used to have Windows XP Home, and when I ripped, I got to use Windows
Lossless as the best quality to rip. Then when I upgraded to XP Pro, all I
get is hihgest quality 192 KB. What happened, and how can I get back that
    lossless feeling? HELP!

I found the answer to my own question, and it was easy. You open Media
Player, go to options, rip music, and instead of the format being windows
media audio, click the drop down, choose windows media lossless, and that is
all that you need to do!
