Discussion in 'Windows Small Business Server' started by Albert Alvarez, Mar 2, 2004.

  1. I wanted to know if Windows Small Business Server includes
ICS when you purchase it. In the TechNet help files for
the Windows SBS 2003 it states that ICS can be enabled
with a few easy steps, but I was unable to do this after
setting up my Server. What could be the problem? Do I need
    to reinstall Windows SBS 2003?

  2. Hi Albert,
ICS is not installed on SBS 2003. Instead, SBS uses the Routing and Remote
Access service (or ISA, if installed), which includes the same functionality
(and a lot more to boot).
Running the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard (CEICW) from the
To-Do list or the Server Management console will set up your server to share
    the Internet connection.
