  1. Hello,

I have two Domain Controller in a site. One is a Win 2003 Server St Edition
the other is Win 2000 Server SP4.

The event Viewer shows this warning

    Event Type: Warning
    Event Source: NTDS Replication
    Event Category: Replication
    Event ID: 1083
    Description:
Replication warning: The directory is busy. It couldn't update object CN=...
with changes made by directory GUID._msdcs.domain. Will try again later.

What can i do to solve this problem ?

Windows 2003 has different modes just like win 2000 AD had, mixed mode,
native mode and there are interim modes, check what mode you are in from
windows 2003 AD users and computers select domain and properties of, under
the General tab look at the domain mode, is it mixed mode or native 2003, if
it is native 2003 you wont be able to see legacy NT4 PDC's.
