IE 7 and search engines

Discussion in 'Internet Explorer' started by Warren McFadyen, Oct 31, 2006.

  1. I am new to IE7 and am curious about one thing.
When I open any of the search engines such as Google, Yahoo etc., the
flashing cursor does not appear in the window where one types the search
topic. I must click in it in order to start typing.
This problem did not occur in IE6.
Is there some setting that I can changed to correct this please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Warren,
    peace

  2. What if you right click the IE icon on the desktop and choose Start Without
    Add-ons?
Or go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet
    Explorer (No Add-ons).
