I recently re-installed IE7 due to a bug involving the way it opens pages (or
rather, doesn't), and found that the address bar had buggered off. I've
expanded all the toolbars, disabled the demons that came with the BT Browser
(which I NEVER use, because it breaks the computer) and gone into all the
menus under the sun. Will I have to re-install again?

    Hi,
Try unlocking the IE toolbar (if it's locked) and moving other toolbars
around (including up and down.) Another toolbar may be hiding the Address
    Bar.

Have you disabled all third-party browser add-ons?
    See: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp
    for troubleshooting information.

The troublesome program may not show up as an add-on. Disable other
security, privacy, ad-blocking programs to see if one of them is causing the
problem. Any program that interacts with Internet Explorer could be causing
this. The connection with IE may not be obvious, such as Google Desktop.

A firewall will probably not be causing this problem, but be sure to turn on
the Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall before disabling a
third-party firewall or security suite during testing.

    Hope this helps,
    Don

    I've done all that.
I put a screenshot of My IE7 window

    Hi,
Since you can reinstall it if it's not the guilty party, uninstall the
Styler toolbar / Styler. Next, uninstall the Yahoo toolbar. Restart and see
if the Address Bar has reappeared.

If that doesn't help, I would uninstall IE7 and reinstall with
antivirus/antispyware programs disabled and the Yahoo and Styler toolbars
    still uninstalled.

Earlier the addressbar came back, then disappeared when I rebooted after tea
and Doctor Who. I went into Add/Remove programmes, and was about to uninstall
Styler to see if that helped, when I decided to shut it down first (despite
not using it it still decides to start running on startup). So I turned it
off and voila! The address bar came back. I've just uninstalled Styler.
    Thanks for the help!
