IE7 beta 2 preview - setTimeout function

Discussion in 'Internet Explorer' started by Daniel Rucareanu, Feb 2, 2006.

  1. I have the following problem: if I do something like this:
    setTimeout(myobject.function1(parameter), 1000), the browser throws
an error - something like 'invalid argument'. It works in any other browser,
as well as in IE 6. Are there any changes to setTimeout function in IE7? Or
this is something temporarelly, in beta2 only?

I can't seem to get setTimeout() or setInterval() to work right - I have a
function called by a setTimeout() that includes a call to the same function
at the end, setting up a loop that repeats every [interval]. The function is
called once, but won't recurse. setInterval() doesn't seem to work at all.
Both these functions worked fine under IE6.
