IE7 does not respond after PC returns from energy saving status

    Every time PC wakes-up from an energy saving status connecting to any Web
    site is not possible. IE7 states "connecting.." but Task Manger tells me that
    IE7 is not responding. PC has to be restarted to fix the problem. Any ideas
    what the problem might be?

    the problem is ie7's connection system isn't compatible with most pawer
    saving systems. When you go to sleep or hibernate then wake up the ie7 thinks
    it's still asleep and tries to re-establish and existing connection. The only
    fix I've seen is to uninstall ie7 and reinstall service pack 2
