IE7 goes back a page or two suddenly without doing anything.

It's reaaly frustrating and scary if it happens after inputting a password
    or something.

Does my laptop have a bug?

Can we reinstall IE7? My laptop has Vista, which comes with IE7, I can't
even find a way to uninstall it or to reinstall it.

I also have Skype in my laptop but have got rid of Add-On.

If your laptop is like my laptop, it offers an option whereby movement along
the top of the touchpad activates the Back and Forward buttons. On my
computer (a Sony Vaio), this is called the Web Assistant. Search for it (or
an equivalent) under the Mouse applet in the Control Panel.

    Mine is also Sony Vaio.

I had disabled the tapping function before, but not the web assistant. I
just disabled it. I'll see what happenes.

    Thanks.

  4. I found the option under the function tab on the mouse options. This has been
driving me crazy! Silly Sony Vaio people thinking that was somehow a good
    idea...
