Never Mind...I found somebody else's post stating how to remove and I was
praying it was right and it would return IE6 back to my computer - and it
DID! YIPPEEEE!!!!! Now though my passwords/usernames seem to be gone
forever. Any fix on that? I will never again download and install something
new from Microsoft! It was entirely too much trouble and too much stress!

Thanks for listening and for your help.

  3. Well I installed IE7 on a machine for testing, so I simply reformated the
disk and reverted a fresh backup.

What's true is true: IE7 is a great ungly bullshit!

I pretend to be one of the happy people that moved to Mozilla Firefox.

I still use version 6 because wrote a few web pages that require an ActiveX
    control (classid=CLSID:333C7BC4-460F-11D0-BC04-0080C7055A83) to draw
graphics. And by the way this ActiveX is no longer available in version 7.

Does anyone know of a good replacement for this ActiveX? Perhaps something
scriptable and compatible with other browsers.
