    Hi,

We are using Windows Server 2003 (IIS6) and have deployed an ASP.NET 2.0 web
site. The virtual directory has annonymous access turned off and integrated
windows authentication turned on. In the web.config we have impersonation on
(but no username and password - that is, impersonate the calling user).

    From IE6 everything works.

Form IE7, it keeps poping up a login box. After 3 times the login fails and
    we get HTTP error 401.1

If I turn on annonymous access on the IIS6 virtual directory it works, but
then we asre not using integrated windows authentication. If I turn off
integrated windows authentication in IE7 it works (and still uses integrated
windows authentication). If I access the site by it's IP address instead of
    machine name it also works.

Note: this is all on a LAN.
