I am having trouble getting the ability to enter my username and password to
    this site:

    https://www.iepdirect.com/iepdotnet/loginportal/default.aspx?flh=1

when I am using IE7. I noticed the problem with the RC1 so I unistalled it
and waited till the final release. When I downloaded that, the problem did
not go away. I went back to using IE6 once again until this bug is fixed. I
tried modifyin=g some security features but it didn't work.

Turn on SSL 2.0, try again. (Tools->Internet options->Advanced)

Nope. Tried that and it still doesn't work. I am not able to even enter the
username and password and there is an error message that I get saying that i
    need Internet Explorer.

Doesn't work in Firefox either, maybe it is the site.

That may be an indication that the site is looking for a particular User-Agent
string. Try using the IE6 User-Agent spoof available here:

    Good luck
