I also was having the same problem, I went through all the recommended
spyware removal techniques and found that my system if running clean and free
of any malware, spyware, adware, trojans, viruses, etc.

thanks for the honesty. I knew with a handle like Airborne82 I could trust
you. 1st Infantry Division 11B ground pounder myself.

i uninstalled ie7 and said to hell with it. I am too busy to beta test for
    ms or any other company.

    all the way!

  5. I have no spyware or malware: ran adaware, spybot, win defen, and
jvpowertools and my computer is fine. I tried uninstalling the beta then
reinstalling but it did the same thing again and closes on the open click.
This is really bad that so many users are having problems on a product so
    close to release?

I have the same problem, the earlier Beta 2 worked fine but this latest one
closes as soon as I launch it.

  7. Why won't MS respond to this issue as it seems many users are having the
problem. The older Betas would at least install but they stil had problems on
my system. In the older betas my favorites wouldn't work at all and would
give me a class not registered error if I tired to add new ones. Also the
zoom feature didn't work at all, the toolbar could not be customized, and the
advanced tab in the options was there but the options inside the box were
missing. And Microsft never says a word. Its almost release time too!

  8. Can I join this club???? I have the same issue. Uninstalled IE7...IE6 works
like a champ. Tried to reinstall....IE7 opens and then immediately closes.
Malware? No way....have three products protecting against that stuff. I'm
not going to go on a wild goose chase to find out why. Really
dissapointed....IE7 looks like it has potential.

Hoooah!!! 13D (FA). If it aint broke don't fix it!!! It's alot easier
sticking with IE6 and add the Windows live toolbar. The tool bar has some
really good addons for it. The biggest attractions for to IE7 is the tabbed
browsing, since IE7 is still FUBAR I use the toolbar with the tabbed browsing
addon. It works awesome. Stay safe.

Do you have any third part tool bars or add-ins installed.

I had the same problem when I installed SiteAdvisor. Removed SiteAdvisor
    and IE7 is working great.

The only "3rd" party addons/toolbar is the google toolbar. I've actually
stopped using the windows live toolbar because it wouldn't allow me to remove
the search box. I will continue to use Google for my searches and
toolbar/addons. Customization is the key to success.

  12. And does it work if you uninstall the Google toolbar?

I did not uninstall the Google Toolbar to see if IE7 B2 would work or not. I
do recall thought when I installed IE7B2 that my Google Toolbar was no longer
active. Since I only have one computer and it being my laptop, I'll probably
wait until the final release of IE7 comes out before I attempt any more
    downloads.

  15. Several responses were given. This is a beta and we're all learning our
way. There's no one from Microsoft here.
    Beta means

    Bugs
    Exist
    Try
    Another program

  16. If it were happening to me I would uninstall IE7 and wait for the next
    release.
