I have watched BBC News24 via IE7 using Windows Media Player 11 (ADSL)
without any problem since it started.

Unfortunately, after successfully using the new BBC iPlayer ('click to play'
using Flash), I am no longer able to see/hear BBC News 24 player without
long breaks in video and sound.

I have proved that the problem follows the use of the new BBC iPlayer by
finding that the same problem now occurs with my laptop.

I can find no way of resolving this problem and hence am no longer able to
watch BBC News24 on either of my computers.

I would be most grateful if anybody can advise.

Is there an option in the BBC iPlayer to choose connection speed?

It may be that connection speed is not automatically detected and the
    setting is too low.

I don't have a problem seeing the BBC iPlayer with Flash - the problem has
been created for BBC News24 via Windows Media Player following the
successful viewing of iPlayer via Flash - Rob

Further to my last massage (below), I have updated to the latest Macromedia
Flash and it has solved the problem with playing News24 via Windows media
    Player 11!

I don't understand this but many, many thanks for your help - Rob
