    Hi,

When I see a picture online I'd like to use as my Desktop Wallpaper I right
click and select, 'Set as Background', and that USED to by default create my
    new wallpaper.

Now, and I don't know if it's IE7 related, but now what I get is multiples
of the size of the pic that I selected. e.g. if the pic is a 3"x5" then I
have a dozen of the pics on my Desktop.

What do I have to do in order to replicate a smaller pic online to become a
FULL size Wallpaper picture covering my entire Desktop screen, please?

    Hi Jean,

I suspect your desktop wallpaper is set to "Tile".

Right click an open space on your desktop | Click PROPERTIES | Click DESKTOP
tab | POSITION and choose "STRETCH" or "CENTRE" | APPLY | OK.

Note: If the picture that you have chosen is "small", then it won't look
good when stretched. To fill the screen properly the resolution of the
picture should be close to that of your monitor screen.

Let us know if this was the cause of the problem.

    Good Luck.

    Thanks, Andy I. and Ron.

I'm sorry that it took me sooooooooo long to get back to your answers. Andy
    I. You asked me to get back to you guys. Well, since it's over a month 1/2
    now...

All I can remember is trying whatever I could think off and eventually I was
able to enlarge my tile pic - but, unfortunately, after so many attempts,
when I was finally able to enlarge it - I simply don't recall how I did it,
    even at the time.

But I'm pretty sure that I didn't change the Display Position to Stretch.
Therefore, there must be another way to change the Tile Setting directly
using the Desktop. Usually, there are several ways to perform the same
function in Windows, so I guess with some dumb luck/much time, I simply
stumbled upon the other way of changing the Tile position to Stretch while
doing it on the Desktop alone.

However, what I didn't know is that that was the reason why my previous
Internet pictures were all so distorted. So, thanks for that explanation
    also!
