I'm geting 0x80072F78 error

Yesterday I downloaded the most recent updates at another computer and
installed them and then windowsupdate worked, but today I started getting
this error again:
0x80072F78

This is happening on my work machine but not at home. I downloaded updates
at home and then manually installed them at work up to most recent as of
yesterday and then WU worked at my work machine. But today, I get the error
again.

I've tried the Windows update Trouble shooter for this error number and none
of those things helps.

Last night, win update didn't work. I left the computer on, went home, came
in this morning, and it worked -- what the . .. ?

 

And a couple hours later, it's not working. This can't be on my end could
it?

Did you try the suggestions at
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/ under "While the Windows
Update Web site is loading, you receive Initialization error 0x80072F78"?

 

Oh yes.

At this point, I'm guessing that it must a network firewall.
It would just figure that geniuses that run the network that decided they
could protect the network if they didn't allow Window updates.
If that's the case, the fact that occassionally the firewall is down and the
win updates does work doesn't say a lot for the firewall protection.
