    Hi,

Is there any way to setup xcahnge to forward IMAP e-mails to a clients
    inbox?

For example one of our clients (imap-user) has an AOL e-mail account
(); would it be possible to forward e-mails recieved to
that inbox to a users inbox (), as with the POP3 service
    on Small Business Server 2003?

    Thanks
    Tim

  2. Hi Tim,

Thank you for posting in the SBS newsgroup. I'm glad to work with you
    again.

I am sorry for the delayed response due to the weekend. Please understand
that the newsgroups are staffed weekdays by Microsoft Support professionals
to answer your systems and applications questions. Your understanding is
    greatly appreciated!

As you mentioned, can I assume your concern is: you have a user have an AOL
IMAP email account, and you would like to setup the Exchange Server to
retrieve the AOL IMAP emails to a Exchange client's mailbox, like as the
POP3 Connector on the SBS 2003 Server. If it is the case, unfortunately, we
cannot setup the Exchange Server to retrieve the AOL IMAP emails to a
Exchange client's mailbox. However, we can use the following methods to
    work around this issue:

Note: If it is not the case, please kindly describe the exact problem
    symptom for further troubleshooting.

Method 1: If the AOL IMAP email account supports forward emails to other
email addresses, please configure the AOL IMAP email account directly
forward its emails to the Exchange user's email address.

Method 2: If you have no public FQDN email addresses for the Exchange
users, we can configure the Outlook or other e-mail applications to read
    AOL emails.
