Discussion in 'Clustering' started by Akin S Walter-Johnson III, Dec 19, 2005.

  1. ALL,
I need to install oracle in a clustered environment and I have the
    following questions
    1) Should I install on each node's local drive separately
    2) Should this be a clustered resource ?

  2. Hi Akin,

You should consult either with Oracle's website (http://technet.oracle.com)
or their newsgroup on "How to install Oracle Client on an MSCS (Cluster)".
Most likely, they will instruct you to install it as a clustered resources.

    Hope this helps,
