installation hangs, keyboard quits responding

    In the process of installing 2003 Ent. Ed. I get to the GUI part and its
    asks me to proceed on the non-MS verified HDD controller drivers. I press
    Yes & proceed. A bit later it gets to another prompt to proceed:

    "Microsoft UAA Function Driver for High Definition Audio - Adi 1983

    Has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with this
    version of Windows."


    The keyboard quits responding but the 5 progress lights in the lower right
    corner still cycle through, & background text changes. I've tried different
    keyboards with no success. All I can do at this point is to power the
    system down.

    Any suggestions?
