I have a new computer operating Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10.
Whenever I click on a video file on the internet, I receive a window asking
me if I want to save the file. It contains an error message that states:

The file you are downloading cannot be opened by the default program. It is
either corrupted or it has an incorrect file type. As a security precaution,
it is recommended that you cancel the download.

If I download the file, Windows Media Player opens and plays the file just
fine. How do I get it to open the file without having to download first.
Window Media Player is my default player for all file extensions that I am
trying to download, this was verified in file types under my computer
properties. Some please help me here, this is driving me crazy.
