    Hi Moonbarker,

When you navigate to the site choose the View>Web Page Privacy Policy menu.
You must be blocking the site cookies that will be storing your logon
details. (see if you are accepting cookies in Firefox)

The easiest way to fix this and if you really, really trust the site, is to
add the site to your Trusted Internet Zone. Tools>Internet Optoins -
    Security tab.

    Regards.

  3. Hello and thanx, but that had no effect. I think the problem is bigger than
what I thought it was when I made my origional post because the same thing
happens in Opera and this afternoon, Deviantart.com started doing it too in
both browsers while at the same time, both sites work flawlessy in Firefox,
which I installed on someone's advice to see if that would work. If the
problem spreads to other sites and or to Firefox as well, at least I know a
good comp shop that doesn't charge body parts.

Additionally, temporarily disabling Avast Antivirus, AdAware and Windows
Firewall also had no effect, which I expected since they never caused a
    problem before

    Hi Moonbarker,

Your Firewall settings. Are you blocking cookies from these sites?

It must be your cookie settings for the site.

    Regards.

  5. I think it is cookies, others have suggested that cookies are expiring
prematurely and the same thing has started happening with other sites. I
think I may have a trojan
