I am running on Windows XP Professional (SP2 - with all current high
priority patches installed). In Intenet Explorer - when I go into Internet
Options and select the Programs Tab - I am unable to change the default
program that Internet Explorer will use for the following programs:
    E-mail - Newsgroups - Internet Call - Calendar - Contact List.

The list boxes are greyed out so that I cannot change.

In addition, the checkbox to have IE check to see if it is the default
browser is unchecked and disabled - so that it cannot be checked. I am
guessing that this could be this way because of a registry setting or a
policy setting. Other colleagues can change these options so I do not
believe that this is a domain policy that is causing this issue.

Any ideas or help is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    John
