Discussion in 'Windows Media Center' started by Guillaume Genest, Jul 29, 2005.

  1. Hi,
I'm on the process of updating all our windows XP Pro to Windows XP Pro
    SP2.
once the SP2 is installed and we want to do windows update, the site tell us
    the cdkey is invalid.

I check our cdkey on the licensing system and it has change since the time i
install windows xp some years ago ;)

So, what i must do? contact microsoft to unban my old cdkey?
is there any possibility to change the cdkey in batch for all my computer in
    my network?

    thanks!

You could start by posting to a more appropriate newsgroup such as
    microsoft.public.windowsxp.general or microsoft.public.windowsupdate. This
newsgroup supports Media Center Edition computers.
