is rtm from nov 2006 different from rtm from jan 31 2007 ?

  3. There is only one RTM, so yes, they are the same.
    Generally this also applies to all Microsoft operating systems and
    other products.

    Until they release a service pack, they usually don't change it.
    Thus with XP, you had RTM, SP1, SP2 in home and pro versions.

  5. A Service Pack does not change RTM.
    RTM will be the same after a Service Pack as it is today and as it was
    the day of release..
