We have SBS 2003 and run CRM 4.0. SQL Server 2005 that is included with SBS
is the Workgroup edition which does not include scheduling. We are looking
to upgrade to SBS 2008 Premium but it seems to include SQL Server 2008
    Standard FOR SMALL BUSINESS.

Is SQL Server 2008 Standard for Small Business the same as SQL Server 2008
Standard Edition or are there subtle differences?

  2. Yes, they're functionally the same. What differentiates the "for small
business" version is that it has to be installed in an SBS domain.

  3. It's only a licensing name difference.. it has to run in the SBS domain
otherwise it's bog standard SQL 2008 standard.
