is there a free net send tool to send message to distirbution or security grp ?

    "net send" can send to computers and individuals nt id

    Can "net send" send to distribution or security grp ?

    or 3rd party tool ?

    No.

    You can send from a script or batch file in a loop.

    NET SEND sends to machines connected on the domain and finds users by
    account name if they are connected.
    NET SENDS requires the messenger service to be running.

    NET SEND appears to be phasing out and may not work with Windows XP SP2 or
    with terminal services.
