Is there any way to share data with a Linux guest machine?

    You share data with a Linux guest the same way you share
    with a physical PC running Linux. Many people are using
    Samba, or ftp, to transfer data to/from their Linux
    guests.

    You can also set up a linked vhd that is linked to your
    main disk. Then mount that like any other disk in Linux.

    Linked hard disks can't be mounted on the Host OS.
