Is there such a thing as "reverse" sync.?

  1. I am using version 10 for my Windows Media Player. I have an Archos portable
device. I don't think this is the correct page for technical things (i.e. -
I bet you want more details), but this will tell you the basics like the
    model and such.

So, for my question: Is there any way to instead of sync. what is on the
computer to this device... can I sync what is on the device to my computer?
I (stupidly, I now see) directly organized my device by connecting it to the
computer, and didn't bother to make the (hundreds of) changes to the
origional copy on my hard drive. I had SO many repeats because my family
passed it from person to person to put files on before giving it to me, hence
having up to 6 copies of the same song! See the problem? Thank you, I
really appreciate it and I hope you can help me!
