ISA and Tape Backups

    Hello to all,

    1) Does SBS2003 need 2 network cards to install ISA?
    2) Does SBS2003 automatically backup to different tapes each day?

    1> Yes 2 NICs are needed to use ISA in Firewall or "Integrated Mode"

    2> The SBS Wizard will overwrite the Tapes if they are not changed each day

  3. To further clarify the tape question, if you use the SBS Wizard to schedule
    your tape backup, it does NOT eject your tape. Thus, if you do NOT manually
    eject and replace your tape, SBS will overwrite the tape that's in the
    drive.

    The wizard does not allow an option to eject the tape. Nor does the wizard
    allw an option to skip doing a full verification of your tape.
