I went to log in to a financial website to view my account. However, I got
an error msg saying I needed to have JavaScript.

I use IE8 and have NEVER had any website saying I need to have JavaScript.

When I looked at the IE8 menu selection "Internet Options", I did not
EXPLICITLY see an item to enable JavaScript.

    Any help would be appreciated.

That will tell you if [Java]script is enabled in the web browser you use
    to connect to them.
