My keyboard must be on some sort of lock i think...every time i hit ANY key
it just beeps. But if i hold down a key for a couple of seconds it will beep
then type that key. I have already tried unplugging it or restarting the
computer or checking the speeds of the keys in the keyboard hardware section
in control panel. I've searched all over the internet for support, so far
I've got no help, please reply.
It is probably a simple problem. I am using a Gateway computer and keyboard
and am using Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Also I typed this whole passage using a freaking On-Screen Keyboard and alot
of rapid clicking with the mouse, resulting with a really sore wrist.

Do you find any keyboard error during booting?
You may try with another keyboard or, if you suspect it to be a bad
keyboard then you can attach it to another machine and check the same.
