    Hi,

I´ve a very simple question concerning textboxes:
I want to read out the content of a textbox. This is a part of my script:

    $Eingabe_Test = $PROJEKT.controls.textbox
    $gemessen_Test = $Eingabe_Test.text
    ;(((or $gemessen_Test =
    $Eingabe_Test.textbox ???)))
    Messagebox('$gemessen_Test','$gemessen_Test',0)

But the messagebox output is empty.
How can I read out the content of the textbox ?

    Thank you for help

    Thomas

It looks like KiXtart and looks like $gemessen_Test is being assigned a null string and
thus the "messagebox output is empty."

    Yes, it´s KiXtart.
And yes it looks lige $gemessen_Test = Null.
But why is it Null ?`
    I´ve assigned it with $gemessen_Test = $Eingabe_Test.text I thought !

    Thanks

Is, $Eingabe_Test.text , being assigned via some COM Automation ?

What is the REST of the script pertinent to the MessageBox()
