KMDF Filter & PNP

    Is it possible for a KMDF filter driver to register for some PNP callbacks and let lower drivers handle other callbacks? I'd like to intercept the prepare to hibernate callback and leave all others to be managed by the function or bus driver(s).

    I think you can register for EvtIoDeviceControl and look for PNP specific controls and take action as needed. Another way to is to pre register for IRP_MJ_PNP using WdfDeviceInitAssignWdmIrpPreprocessCallback(). If I understood this correctly, you can use both.
