I'm in the initial planning stage of a web site that is expected to grow to
many users and a lot of data in SQL Server 2000. 24/7/365 is a requirement
and the plans are to have two physical sites. I know that Windows Server
2003 and SQL Server 2000 can be set up for high reliability and scalability.
What are some good resources to start figuring out exactly how to do it?

    Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the SQL Server 2000 Failover information.

Planning and general info on Windows Server 2003 scaling would also be
appreciated. It's not /critically/ urgent since were in the design phase,
but I'd like to start learning what I'll need to know.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the link. Lots of good information there.

Are there any books that handle web site scalability especially well? I
looked at the Server 2003 titles in my local Borders last night but didn't
find anything. (As Borders goes, it's one of their smaller bookstores.)

    Thanks.
