    I need to launch IE from a command line, Java application, or Windows.exe
    application without the menu, toolbar, address bar, status bar, or scrollbars

    I can do this in Javascript using this command:
    window.open('/ipce/jsp/polyphony.jsp','CiscoIPCE',
    scrollbars='0,menubar=0,status=0,width=1000,height=690,resizable=0');

    Anyone have any ideas or pointers?

    thanks

    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe -k http://www.google.com

    This launches IE in Full Screen mode (like F11) but to get rid of the
    scrollbars you need to style the body tag to turn them off.

    Thanks Lou. What do you mean by "style the body tag"?

    I figured you might ask, but I couldn't remember off the top of my head.

    <body style='overflow:auto'>

    this instructs IE to only show the vertical scrollbar if the content is too
    long to show without it.

  5. Hello TedG,

    You can do the same from the command line with the Quero Launcher utility:
    http://www.quero.at/launcher.php

    qlaunch.exe
    menubar=no,status=no,scrollbars=no,resizeable=no,height=690,width=1000

    You can also hide the titlebar if you want by adding notitlebar to the
    property list.

    Best regards,

    Viktor

    Note:
    The property scrollbars is currently not supported. I have copied it
    accidently from your javascript code.
