I never used my PC for music before a month ago. When WMP11 came out I
decided to try it before going out and buy an MP3 player for Christmas. I
have never used WMP10 before. I followed the MS website on how to prepare
for upgrading and everything went fine as it upgraded. I have begun ripping
from CDs in both the WMA and WAVE format. I have noticed that WAVE files
often loose their length and bit rate information next to each song after I
get media information for the web with the Update Album Info. This is very
annoying. It never loses the information for WMA files only the WAVE files.
Is there a way to have WMP check the file and fill in the missing info.
